Storyline: Unfolds around the Harmon family, a family of three with Ben (Dylan Mcdermott), a cheating husband, a charlatan of a therapist, and a failed father figure, Vivien (Connie Britton), a submissive wife, that gives birth to a stillborn, and is also a major negative role model to her daughter as she accepts this deceptive, unfaithful husband back into her life and Violet (Taissa Farmiga) a depressed teenage girl that contemplates suicide on a daily basis. This unlikable family has moved from Boston to Los Angeles as an attempt to bring their family closer. They move into this gorgeous mansion that was surprisingly and questionably very affordable which proves within hours to us, the viewers, to being haunted.
