I would have never thought Tyrese would have been the next to go but after a long pause in my mind, it made completely good sense. His task was to protect Rick Grimes' newborn baby, since Rick and his son, Carl are back in being the important parts of Judith's life while playing the role of her protector; Tyrese's role was rendered obsolete. Although, he was the most loving character and brother, he was just no longer needed. And with the new addition to the cast, someone had to go.
