The Hollow (2004)

Why: This is a light-hearted version of Irving's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" with a vibrant ensemble of young and veteran actors that brought this vision to life. If you are looking for a serious Halloween slasher thriller, look again but if you are ready to laugh at a bunch of High schoolers being chased by a determined Headless Horseman in a 21st century decor, then be prepared to laugh your head off.

Fact: The Hollow is plotted around Halloween but the movie was shot in the summer of 2003. Pumpkins were out of season and the Art Department found a few actual pumpkins. Most of the Pumpkins seen in the movie are arts and crafts.
