Who: Cillian Murphy from the supernatural movie "Red Lights" is our horror movie hunk for the month of July. He is Irish through and through. His parents are both educators but Cillian knew at a very early age that his calling was to become a Rock Star, which he later revised to being an actor. In his early twenties, he was the founding member of a Beatles inspired band alongside his brother called "The Sons of Mr. Greengenes". They were offered a five album deal which they never signed fortunately because it would have deprived them of all composition rights. Nonetheless, in the late 1990s Cillian started his acting career and landed the coveted role of a surviving hero in the 2003 zombies attack movie. Eversince he has been perfoming in major hollywood pictures as well as independent films. Oftentimes he is so invested in a performance that long after the movie is finished, one may still think of him as the character instead of purely the actor enacting the role. He is a highly compelling actor.

Why: His versatility - Cillian Murphy is a chameleonic performer, he can be a survivor, a villain, a woman, a victim and a hero in a day's work without breaking a sweat. His androgenous look is also very infectious on screen.
