Short Bio: Born on August 7, 1977 in Paris, France, he is of Jewish ancestry, his parents are French Director Alexandre Arcady and French movie critic, Marie-Jo Jouan.

Alexandre Jouan-Arcady is a Director, Producer, Writer. Member of the Splat Pack bunch as he also contributes in countless horror movies by writing, producing, directing them. His surname Aja, is a combination of the first letters of his full name. He is married to fellow moroccan filmmaker, Laila Marrakchi.
