Part of the 13 days of pre-Halloween splurge

Why: This is a story based off a poem written by Tim Burton of the most liked Holiday that comes before Christmas which is sometimes misunderstood to being linked with only wrongdoings. It's a highly entertaining and contagious tale of gothic proportions executed with the best soundtrack ever scored in a holiday themed movie.

Tagline: " A ghoulish tale with wicked humour and stunning animation."

Actor: Danny Elfman, Catherine O'hara, Chris Sarandon

Director: Henry Sellick

Trivia: The writer Tim Burton, has said the original poem was inspired after seeing Halloween merchandise display in a store being taken down and replaced by a Christmas display. The juxtaposition of ghouls and goblins with Santa and his reindeer sparked his imagination.

Gothic and Weirdly Enchanting+++***: Hell yeah!
