The Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)

Produced by Robert H. Solo and directed by Philip Kaufman

Granted this is a remake of the 1956 version based on the novel by Jack Finney but this one has Donald Sutherland and the Pods people just seemed creepier and hauntingly vivid in this retake. Guinea Pig film series: "Flowers of Flesh and Blood"

Produced by Hideshi Hino in 1985

The scene depicting a man dressed as a Samurai (Hino) kidnapping a young woman, bringing her to his house and then proceeding to dismember her, was one of the most believable scenes ever made. So shocking and so real-looking that actor Charlie Sheen contacted the FBI after watching this second installment to the Japanese Manga styled Horror in 1991!
