Trick R Treat (2007)

Scene: Laurie played by Canadian-born actress Anna Paquin is a shy, introverted, good girl through and through whom decides to separate herself from her mundane, sex-seeking girl friends. She is ironically wearing a red cape through the woods. Laurie feels threatened for her safety when she finds herself being followed and tracked down by a vampire. We, the viewer, were not ready nor prepared for what happened next. The following scene twisted my world so hard that I felt kinda ashamed for awhile. We thought this vampire will inevitably devour little red riding Laurie but instead we discover that the vampire was no vampire, and little frail-looking virgin Laurie was no innocent little virgin, as she was in fact one of the werewolves from her pack of Loup-Garou besties. In the final scene in the middle of the woods, the SHE-WOLVES crew literally shed their skins off to reveal the monster that dwells within; they proceed to rip into pieces and feast on the flesh of the men they had recruited for the party including Mr. Wilkins disguised as the seductive vampire. Shall we say, a party that begins with sex may end with death!

 Bottom Line: In Trick R Treat, there were many WTF moments. Those four Halloween-themed stories were created purely to infest and fuck the mind in various creative ways. Although your brain is pre-programmed on how to react to certain scenes in the horror genre nevertheless some scenes are so incredibly original and weirdly twisted that you may find yourself at a lost for words for countless seconds after or capable to mutter only those three very familiar words..."What the FUCK???!!".
