Super 8 is a film about six teenagers who witness a train crash while making a super 8 film. They survive the crash but the crash itself was not an accident, it was rather an attempt to free something from the train. The aftermath of the train crash will cause the Air Force to take action against anyone in their way of capturing again whatever escaped from the train; even if that means to put a whole town at risk while doing so. Nonetheless, these kids will not give in without a fight similarly to the escaped creature.
