Halloween has always been one of my favorite Holidays since I can remember. I cannot tell you exactly what my reasons are to think so highly of a Holiday that is considered demonic in certain parts of the world. Then again, I guess I like anything with some depth and some controversy about it. I like Halloween because it is when I can totally be outrageous with my outfit and noone will give me craps about it, it's when I can totally be myself for a change and the world will accept me just as I am, not realizing that I am celebrating Halloween all year long in my ever feverish soul. I definitely think that some role-playing is essential for living a long and healthy life and Halloween is the day when you can be whoever and whatever ...............
Why: This Halloween will not be complete without a fun, light-hearted horror movie about ghouls, vampires, zombies and ghosts all raised unknowingly by a gang of high schoolers on Halloween night. They have till midnight to get these creatures of darkness back to their eternal slumber. They have to outsmart these devilish ghouls and these very much upset zombies in order to get their mission accomplished within this life-ending deadline.
Why: I loved this storyline because it was funny and horrifying at the same time. Jenna is coming home to spend Halloween with her younger brother, Dougie, but she is also choosing to spend some time as well with her boyfriend from college while she is on vacay which could be okay with any other family but in Jenna's case, her younger brother is in love with her and has grown very fond of a video game called "Satan's Little Helper", so Dougie is much unhappy about the news of Alex, Jenna's new boyfriend. Dougie leaves his home to witness a man dressed like Satan from his favorite video .....................
Why: I was very young when I watched this movie for the first time, even then I was in awe, now that I am much older, I still find myself amazed by the performances, the originality and the simplicity of the plot. Dark Night of the Scarecrow tells the story of a mentally-challenged man 'Bubba' who is accused of both murdering and raping a local girl named Marylee by Otis, a postman, who hates Bubba especially for having a friendship with Marylee. When rumors are spreading around town that Marylee is killed, Otis blames one person, Bubba. He takes it upon himself to get rid of Bubba finally since he already ..................
Once upon a time in Halloweentown, a gorgeous little boy named Jersamy Sans-Petit spent his slumbers in a cage as he turned into a beast every single night of his existence. His family felt wrong about having a son caged up on a nightly basis but it beats getting the whole town out to get them for the killings which could be perpetrated by their spawn if freed. Jersamy's parents were at a lost, they acted like they couldn't understand why their son turned into a deadly creature at night fall, they wanted him to have a normal upbringing but who are they kidding? They both had made inadvertently a deal with the devil since they could not have children. They had tried everything in the modern book of ............
Why: May is a lonesome frail-looking girl. She was born an only child with a lazy eye. On her birthday, her equally bizarre mother gifted her a porcelain doll. As May grew into a young woman, her weird tendencies only grew with her, working in an animal hospital, sewing up these furry creatures after surgery, May gradually started to make friends. However, when May showcased her fondness for the weird and unusual, they bolted. May continued to crave companionship, but after her only true friend, the doll, made it to pieces, a mentally-fragile May will take matters into her own hands to create the perfect friend for herself. It's a good watch!
Why: The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror is a Halloween-themed special filled with so many well-narrated and scare me senseless spoofs that even in laughter you will find some crazy gory scenes that will make you feel just like Homer, scared shitless of Halloween and kiddies stories. This installment features Treehouse of Horror V, VI, VII and VIII with Kang and Kodos as featurettes. You have to be very thankful to the brains behind this one as I dubbed this Treehouse of Horror, the best Halloween special ever in an animated series!

Why: Ginger Snaps tells the story of two sisters Brigette and Ginger Fitzgerald whom love to put on crazy gory presentations as their school projects. They are obsessed with dead things. At school, they get bullied by the typical popular kids but sweet revenge is so gnarly as they intend to play a trick on Trina, a popular girl who pushed Brigette literally in dog feces, by kidnapping her dog and make it seem as if they had killed it. If only the beast of Bailey Downs was not also on a rampage that same night, we would have never seen what Ginger could have practically became with just a little supernatural push from a werewolf bite. A pure cult classic!
Why: This movie had me hooked...I do not want to spoil it for anyone but if you have not seen it yet, keep in mind any movie with the "Mad World" music as part of its soundtrack is guaranteed to be a sensational treat to watch. The movie revolves around Donnie played by Jake Gyllenhaal whose a recluse to even his own family but for some reason he gets lured out of his house every night by Frank, a man dressed in a rabbit suit, whom saves and manipulates Donnie to complete his morbid requests but wait it's not Halloween for another month.
Tagline: "Why are you wearing this stupid man suit?"
Actors: Jake Gyllenhaal, Jena Malone, Mary Mcdonnell
Why: The Thing is always going to remain one of the greatest Alien movies ever because the storyline is both plausible and unimaginable. The Prequel to this Claustrophobic and Paranoiac tale of a shapeshifting alien that overpowered a Norwegian Research team by assimilating them is likely to be both highly anticipated and mostly watched - wrong. But I loved the storyline, I loved how it ended to merge with the beginning of the former movie, I loved the special effects, I also loved the actors I thought they did a very good job overall. This Prequel will make you feel that it was necessary to The Thing franchise as it explains the Alaskan Malamute being chased after and shot at by a rifleman from a Norwegian helicopter.
Actors: Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton, Ulrich Thomsen, Eric Christian Olsen
WTF Scene: Where Elsa played by Sarah Polley and Dren played by the gorgeous Delphine Chaneac are in the woods, Dren tackles Elsa to the ground, Elsa screams trying to understand Dren's motives for attacking her, and He-she tells her that it wants to be inside her, at that point I am not just taken aback, I cannot believe that she seduces and does the dirty with Clive played by Adrian Brody supposedly her father figure
and now Male-Dren WANTS Elsa (her mother figure), can you say, incestuous menagerie to the max? Shockingly her tail was not only a sharp tool used to kill innocent animal and people alike but also a make-shift penis forced on Elsa as Male-Dren rapes Elsa for over three minutes with her multi-purpose tail.
Actor: Adrian Brody, Delphine Chaneac, Sarah Polley
Director: Vicenzo Natali
Famous Quote: "If you could understand Crazy, it wouldn't be CRAZY"
Bottom Line: In Splice there were a lot of WTF moments but this rape scene was
unlike any other as I was both violently traumatized and brain-raped by that part.
