I got a new zombie movie called Children of the Living Dead. It stars Tom Savini and its so funny. Its such a crappy movie its funny. And it has all the stereotypical things you see in horror movies like really dumb ppl who wont leave town and dont pay attention so the zombies bite them. But this is honestly the first zombie movie I've ever seen where a zombie scratches somone and they turn into a zombie themselfs? My friend and I got into a argument over this cause I told him the only way to be turned into a zombie by another zombie was by being bit. Am I right or wrong? I know regular ppl can turn to zombies by something in the air that they breath but once your a zombie you can only turn others into one by biteing them right?
Yes, definitely. I am not the expert in Zombie movies, but that's pretty much the idea, you get transformed into a zombie by breathing special airborne chemical agents, getting bitten by another zombie, or zombies vomit blood all over your mouth that you swallow inadvertently(Honeymoon Zombies). Hope that helped!
I love zombie movies they all revolve around one thing: flesh eating, slow moving corpses that always seem to corner its preys at the right time, to eat them. I love when they keep to the script and show you that there are only certain ways you can yourself become a zombie by being bitten by one, weird bio-chemical plant experience gone bad, or they bleed in your mouth like Scaryhornyfreak said it already. I think that idea of only being scratched by a zombie and you become one yourself, usually happens with werewolves, but then again, in Shawn of the Dead, the mother of the main character became a zombie herself after being scratched by another zombie on her hand. so, I think that Idea is not so unique in zombie movies. ---------- Support your horror!
Why: The Thing is always going to remain one of the greatest Alien movies ever because the storyline is both plausible and unimaginable. The Prequel to this Claustrophobic and Paranoiac tale of a shapeshifting alien that overpowered a Norwegian Research team by assimilating them is likely to be both highly anticipated and mostly watched - wrong. But I loved the storyline, I loved how it ended to merge with the beginning of the former movie, I loved the special effects, I also loved the actors I thought they did a very good job overall. This Prequel will make you feel that it was necessary to The Thing franchise as it explains the Alaskan Malamute being chased after and shot at by a rifleman from a Norwegian helicopter.

WTF Scene: Where Elsa played by Sarah Polley and Dren played by the gorgeous Delphine Chaneac are in the woods, Dren tackles Elsa to the ground, Elsa screams trying to understand Dren's motives for attacking her, and He-she tells her that it wants to be inside her, at that point I am not just taken aback, I cannot believe that she seduces and does the dirty with Clive played by Adrian Brody supposedly her father figure and now Male-Dren wants Elsa (her mother figure), can you say, incestuous menagerie to the max? Shockingly her tail was not only a sharp tool used to kill innocent animal and people alike but also a make-shift penis forced on Elsa as Male-Dren rapes Elsa for over three minutes with her multi-purpose tail.

Bottom Line: In Splice there were a lot of WTF moments but this rape scene was unlike any other as I was both violently traumatized and brain-raped by that part.
