The point of this blog will be to review and comment on the classics of the Horror genre both the great and the not so great.  I will from time to time also review new movies and the "New Classics". 

Greetings to all you fellow Horror Movie Freaks!  I got hooked on horror in 3rd grade when I saw The Texas Chainsaw Massacre at a Drive-In, I know that dates me.

To make you even more jealous I saw the originals of: Friday The 13th, Halloween, A Nightmare On Elm Street, Re-Animator, & Phantasm all first run in the theater.

I am also The World's First Fully Functioning Zombie Dad!  According to my kids, as I died twice in 2008 while waiting for a Liver Transplant.  (Acetaminophen killed it)

I hold 2 Doctorates, a Ph.D and a D.D.

I have a great wife and 6 kids, 4 boys and 2 girls.  I haven't always been a "Good Boy".  I am from Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!) and proud of it, although have been living here in The South in Jacksonville, FL for 11 years (Go Gators!). 

I am a great fan of NCAA Basketball.  I could care less about football, much to the chagrin of my wife. She is a huge fan of hockey as well due to being from Canada.  I played Football until my sophmore year of high school when I picked up The Real Football - Soccer.

I have served in both the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Fire Control Tech (AQ) and in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic.  I was Patriotic before being Patriotic was cool!
