Hi to all, this thread is for all members and visitors to introduce yourselves and give us the 411 on your favorite horror movies.
My top ten horror movies of all times are:
1) The Exorcist(1973)
2) The Shining
3) Friday the 13th
4) A nightmare on Elm Street
5) Irreversible
6) Pet Semetary
7) Shawn of the Dead
8) Jacob's Ladder
9) An American Haunting
10)Silent Hill
I am a horror movie crazed fan, I love mostly supernatural movies but I do enjoy the three levels of horror as I described them in the homepage.

Hello, my name is Jez, I love horror movies, I am glad there is a site dedicated to us horror movie fans. I first fell in love with horror movies when I was seven years old. I watched the Exorcist with my siblings, they were older than me, they were scared to death, I was scared to death, but for some reason I wanted to see more of these possessed scenes. I think like you my favorite type of horror is supernatural.
My fav horror movies are:
The exorcist, original, obviously.
The exorcism of Emily Rose
Silent Hill
Gothika
The Omen
Rosemary's baby
Wolf
Cat people
Snake people
Resident Evil (all of them) and many more...
I love female leading horror movies, if you couldn't tell.
I love my horror!

heeey i'm sherly, wow i'm really glad i found a website like this. i can find the names of all good horror movies coool.i have seen most of the horror movies which their names r in this site. and so many more.but the most i like
grudge, silent hill, hostel,shutter.....,i have started to watch horror movies since i was 6.i was always alone at home and bored till i found my father's video tapes i dont remember the name of first horror movie i saw but i know the first character was jim carry i think so and the name of the film was sth like horror house or sth like that.wow the thing that i have noticed why always females took revenge grudge.and i have big big Q, where did all vampire ,were wolf,witches, monsters come from just imagination???????????

Hey Girl from hell, I know what you mean...someone had to be very creative for them to come up with these horrible and unimaginable creatures. But yes, some of it is based on facts and most of it on fiction. All it takes is someone to say they saw a wolf bite somebody and every full moon this someone will become a wolf himself, and start quenching his hunger on the innocent ones. It seems very far fetched don't you think? But there is a story about wolves and their special abilities, as well as witches but you know how creative we can be. Have you ever read the story of the witches of Salem, the real story...People can blow one little situation into a big disaster. Hope that helps! Just keep in mind, that WE are very creative creatures, all it takes, is just one idea, one fact and we can create a world of wonders!

Hi Girl from Hell, I think Scaryhornyfreak answered your last question, but I want to answer your first question about why females seem to be the ones seeking revenge and holding grudges, you asked. Well, I think it's female nature to always want to hold grudges, I have never met a guy who held grudges against anyone in particular either they felt betrayed or not, they would always want to keep it to themselves but not necessarily hold a grudge. Another example, when a girl cheats on a guy, the guy's first reaction is to live the girl or kill both the lover and the girl. Usually if a girl catches her man cheating, she will just go screw the first guy she meets out of spite for her man. It does not always go like that but in most situations, it almost always happen that way, so I think movie makers, writers use that same influence to make it more realistic in their thrillers. I hope that helped.
